Are there point s given for these stars? I dont think there is! Where can you get this inforamtion? Shew my dog is under my feet and it just farted! OH! GOODNESS! NASTY! I may barf!

No points for the stars. The stars is for other people to see so that they can see if they want to answer them as well. It is making a point the the person who stared your question finds it interesting enough for other people to read.As far as the thumbs up yes after a certain level you do get one point for every thumbs up plus the 10 points for best answer.They don't take away for thumbs down thank goodness.
