As a child, my former dentist would cut the insides of my cheeks before sticking thru a shot to numb my mouth... on both sides even tho the cavity was only on one. Now those areas have "flapped" or scarred as a mass of tissue. Does anyone know any reason WHY a dentist would do this??

Needless to say, I'm no longer with them.

In ancient Europe and other places, people lived in enclaves and villages. Never were your enemies permitted to live among you. A majority, not a minority, support suicide bombing and violence in the name of Islam. They want to spread Islam, even if it's done by the sword. We are deluding ourselves if we think islam is a peaceful religion. Something is not right with this religion.

Okay here's the thing...I Stumbled across a web site that my husband visits daily...It's kinda like myspace but it's directed toward xxx adults. I'v always felt that he was cheating and this just took me back a step...It's not as if it's someone from his job that he has genuine feelings for...This is just any ol' hooker on some cheap site ..So I came up with the idea to set up a fake account to see if I could get him to talk to her...sure enough he has...He has no idea that this girl he thinks wants to sleep with him is really me, his wife... "they" have been chatting for over two weeks and he wants to see her this weekend...My question is...Has he already crossed the line? Or do I set up a meating to see if he shows...And to his suprise He will learn that it has been me all along? Just to add... I'm level headed...so this encounter will not be a domstic dispute.

Do you know that the Church even prior to Vatican 2 taught that their was Divine Law of the Church and Human Law of the Church. Divine Law can never be changed. Catholics are obliged to obey the Human Law but it can be changed, dispensed from etc.
For instance Law of Fast and Abstinence. Friday abstinence was never applied to Mexico.
Also mature judgement could be used. A friend who went to Mass after work got involved in her work and ate a candy bar within the time of the old 3 hour fast. She was in the Communion line when she realized she had broken the fast, but to sit back down would cause scandal and that would be more serious than worrying about the Law of Abstinence. Priest and a Bishop agreed she was correct.
If you see a person breaking their fast before communion, you are not to say anything to them.
If they go to communion unaware of breaking their fast they have done nothing wrong and the grace of the sacrament is theirs.

I've heard quite a few argue against conservation and the use of alternative energy, but why do you want to use oil considering the downsides of it's continued use?

If there was an alternative just as cheap that we didn't have to go to war to secure, wouldn't you rather do that?

The tradgy a VA tech could have been prevented if people were not afraid to stand up and make our school officals do something about bullies. Every school believes that it is safe. the truth is its not. This kids that do these horrible acts were tortured every day in their lives. At one point all of us were. But some kids just can not get over it and move on. I believe that kids who get off torturing these kids should be removed just like we remove people who we believe are terrorists. Just like terrorist these kids are putting bombs in the schools and just waiting for the time to pull the switch. True some kids do just kill themselves and it ends with that, some dont. I almost lost my baby into this web of hate and we are still fighting to keep her strong
