Whenever some people go to church and hear the good Word, they feel soothed and relaxed. The more comfortable you feel, the less likely you sin. People want to be reassured that everything happens for a reason and will be comforted in times of stress.

The word of God should be comforting to the people who have a relationship with Him. This would be in the same way that children find comfort in listening to their parent's soothing words and caresses.

Because the word of God is meant to be comforting and encouraging to anyone who hears it. The Bible is the mind of God and people who hear what the Bible says will know what God is thinking about. God thinks about things that will comfort and encourage people.

Because His word will not return void and is the Powerful Living Presence of His Spirit who is also know as the Comforter.

Your either going to love it or hate it. When someone brings up God in a conversation people will take notice. Some will be comforted and others will get mad.

The Word of God does comfort. It is His way of letting you know that He is in control, and through His Son, you are saved.

God was telling the priests what would happen to them if they did not honor His name in their hearts.
The same as He tell us that , if we don't ask Jesus into our hearts and forgive our sins, where we will end up. And no heaven will not be the place.

Because the Word of God is Jesus and he brings comfort to all those who believe in him. It gives us strength to live our lives. What a great blessing from God.

It is Gods way of letting us know he is in control. He holds our future in His hands. He Is the most comforting person ever! He has seen the depths of our heart and he loves us the same!

People suffering from schizoid delusional mental disorder are always comforted when they meet other people that reinforce their delusions. It's one of the reason why it's difficult to convince them to seek psychiatric treatment.
