Do you know that the Church even prior to Vatican 2 taught that their was Divine Law of the Church and Human Law of the Church. Divine Law can never be changed. Catholics are obliged to obey the Human Law but it can be changed, dispensed from etc.
For instance Law of Fast and Abstinence. Friday abstinence was never applied to Mexico.
Also mature judgement could be used. A friend who went to Mass after work got involved in her work and ate a candy bar within the time of the old 3 hour fast. She was in the Communion line when she realized she had broken the fast, but to sit back down would cause scandal and that would be more serious than worrying about the Law of Abstinence. Priest and a Bishop agreed she was correct.
If you see a person breaking their fast before communion, you are not to say anything to them.
If they go to communion unaware of breaking their fast they have done nothing wrong and the grace of the sacrament is theirs.

If you say something to them they cannot receive and will not receive the grace of the sacrament.
If you are invited by a friend to dinner on a day of Abstinence and they have prepared meat as the entree, Chrisitian charity toward your host is more important than the law of Fast.
An Immature Example. People in South Texas who lived close to the border would go to Mexico so they could eat meat on Friday. This sort of thing is what St. Paul was referring to when he mentioned the Letter of the Law and the Spirit of the Law.
It is like silly high school kids trying to find a way to get around the law.Someone said a person with more more than 12 years of Catholic education and they have not furthered that education has no more than a nursery school education

I meant no more than 12 years of Catholic education, not more than 12 years of Catholic education

My reason for asking this question is I saw an ex Catholic make reference to the Limbo situation and he called into question the Church changing some of its Human Law after Vatican II.
Some of these exes are very ignorant of Catholic teaching. They don't know the difference between Divine Law which embodies the Ten Commandments and Human law.

I'm a recovered Catholic and all I can say is Who Gives A Flying Fcuk?

It was the Roman Church that suppressed and perverted the true gospels at The First Council of Nicaea in the first place, turning a message of love and tolerance into a hateful exercise in secular power masquerading as divine right.

Shame on you for breaking the fast. The yawning jaws of Hell await.

Whether it's Divine Law of the church or human law of the church - it's still the law of the church which is man-made. I only follow the Divine Law of God not the church which has twisted many of God''s Laws to accommodate the traditions of men.

It's a mockery to God's Law when people abstain from food to show their piety in their religion but do not abstain from sin whic is what really matters.

I understand that there are those that choose to work out the undesirable area or how Christian you extremely are. i'm now no longer appropriate here to evaluate you, i'm appropriate here to tell you what you the way ought to to come back in superb status with God and his all you will ought to stress approximately, now no longer adult adult males. bypass to confession as quickly as which you ought to and digital mail that character back and tell him/her you need to be sorry and which you're a Catholic Christian or in straight forward terms a Christian (in spite of the undeniable fact that I evaluate your Catholic extraordinary?) and that those words will ought to now no longer been mentioned and for you will no longer safeguard sinning you pick to end the full element and tell him/her that if their Christian they're going to ought to understand your room. Then block your email from 2 weeks ( only in case they do no longer look perfect Christians. God Bless and that i desire this enables.

I don't want to be disrespectful, but what is up with these rules? Who came up with these? Jesus never gave these rules. Jesus wasn't much of a rules guy. And with catholics, why is Mary so important? All the saints? Confessing to priests? I don't understand these things. The cost of most catholic churches-would this please Jesus? I really think not. There are starving people in the world and all that money spent on a house for Jesus. I'm tellin ya, I don't think he'd be happy.

Interesting. But I just simply love Jesus. And I meet Him in my Catholic Church and in the Assembly of God across town and the Nazarene church around the corner, and in the Free Church that my son and his friends attend, and the Christian club where I work.

we already had the beast(head of rome-roman catholicism) in the "vatican" but was it necessary for him to build an image to the beast(world council of ecumenical churches) here in america with another vatican 2?
isn't the oneness they have formed like the union that nimrod in babel brought the world into in babylon?
i think this is fulfilling the scripture of the tares being bundled together for the burning. they have bundled themselves into a one world church and the pope is the head of it too
or the oneness they have formed like the false prophet balaam deceived the people into, saying we are all one. and God destroyed the children of israel for joining up with them.

Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses.
First Roman Catholic Bible was published at Rheims in 1582.
Second one published at Douay in 1609.
These called RCV version of Bible.
The Protestants regarded 7 books as ‘apocrypha’ (doubtful authority) and removed them from Bible. (The Book of Judith, The Book of Tobias, The Book of Baruch, The Buck of Esther, etc.)
Jesus pbuh said in the book of Revelation Chapter 22 Verse 18-19 ". . . If any man shall add to these things (or delete) God shall add unto him the plagues written in this Book."
On deleting 7 books from bible, the Catholics call ‘cult of Christianity’ to the Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses.
