I believe the "New Age" is changing form. The term "New Age" received a bad reputation in some areas. Some things are still labeled as New Age. However, much of what used to be labeled as "New Age" has either fallen away or has changed form in order to be more appealing to more people.

I think what people call "new age" has actually been around since time began, even longer than ANY religion. Here's why, the general idea is GOD is all, and connected, flowing, and IN EVERYTHING. With a large focus on metaphysics, which is really only belief in supernatural or better yet etheric, people tend to forget that love and acceptance are the main principles. Those rent-a-physic tarot card readers are the furthest thing away from "new age" thinking that I think you'll find. Really it is sort of a wiccan view, harm non and do what ye will; while also accepting that we as humans are also half angels and as such have abilities or "powers" if you will, to do extra-ordinary things.

I don't agree that new age is almost over. People are still making oodles of money off of it. Recently, "The Secret" and "What the Bleep Do We Know?" have kept new age going. It seems to be very much alive. I don't know whether it's growing or shrinking, though.

Spirituality is a private matter. All of us by nature are spiritual, but tend to go worldly, as we forget most of the times, that we are not this body, but the soul.

Since it is our secret 'love' affair, we don't divulge it to others. When our secrets are out, we start finding our correct company, where discussing this affair is not a taboo.

So let us not go by numbers. Lets keep it secret.

Spirituality is growing, but the new age is nearly over. It's sad, I remember the dawning of the age of Aquarius...sad...so sad...

I believe it is growing and will continue to grow. When man is condemned by a religion, his first action is to change the religion to something that won't tell him that he's wrong. Eventually he will change it enough so that it will actually represent the opposite of what was intended. Human nature to want things our own way....only.

The last time I checked, it was growing.

People are beginning to open their minds to different possibilities.

It's a good sign.
