Jack van Impe......well let's just say I don't regard his "preaching" as scriptural or his "secret rapture"....he was one of the major sponsors of the "Left behind" film series...(based on the Left behind Books"...they are utter nonsense.

I do believe that the lord's return is real and eminent; but in no manner like what that Imp(e) says. When the Lord returns... He will take His true followers with Him but not secretly...everyone will know it. it will also not be before a great persecution and the Beast. the persecution of the true church started long ago at the hands of papists and their leader, the son of perdition living in the bodies of the reigning popes.

As far as piercings and hair styles go, though he is right; but, his false doctrines should be cast out first; because they are damnable heresies, whereas, piercings and wild hairstyles are just rather immature.

Of course Jesus is coming back. He promised that He would.

I don't think He will be terribly concerned with your piercings though, or care if you have a tattoo or two. He looks on your heart.

IMHO it's not good for us to obsessed with HOW Jesus will return but be filled with His Spirit and a desire to be like HIm more and more each day.

Jack Van Impe. I know him. He gets so excited when he talks about Armageddon. Like he's getting off on the thought of earthquakes, disasters, etc all that crap that's supposed to happen. Yes, people do share his belief that Jesus is coming back.

P.S. His wife's name is Rexella.

Yes, I believe Jesus is going to return but the Bible tells us that we will not know the exact time but will know the season. Jack Van Impe and his wife Roxella believe that the return of Christ is going to be very soon. He specializes in the interpretion of prophecy. Personally, I don't worry about it. God will do things in his own time and my trying to determine when is useless.

He is a funny looking guy, but try to look at it with an open mind. The headlines that they use do line up with scripture and can be unsettling sometimes.
