what is the meaning of this life?

I've been asking myself that question for a long time.

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.


To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

Soul is a spirit that dwells upon the body, the abode. Spirit does not die. Only the body, the dwelling is destroyed. Our miseries are due to material enjoyment. The soul goes from one dwelling place to another. The life, the spirit of soul would continue to live forever. We should do our duties without any bad feelings with a positive view. If you realise this, the life will become beautiful.

it is believed the human have to life a good life doing good deeds.Every human has some purpose the Creator God has created each and every living thing.But only human being have the ability to explore the world, to think what is good what is bad.To use it in good ways pursue a good job , Marry take care of your parents, wife and children .Get all comforts and then you life is complete, Because you have taken a role of child, husband ,father, grandfather.
Finally you come to an end during this short life span all your good deeds and bad deeds will be weighed and then it will be concluded whether you can go to hell or heaven....

it is not easy to go to heaven but if you have done little good you will take rebirth in good family and live well or for little bad thing you will live in a poor family and experience what suffering means which you must have not undergone in this life and so you havent helped the poor.....

After repenting all your deeds you will learn to be good and finally go to heaven and still if you commit crime you go to hell where the suffering is more painful than getting burned in fire and will have to feed on poisonous throny plant until all intestines will tear and still hungry wouldnt be over ,there after all this suffering we will only pray to God which we all forget to pray when we live comfortably and beg him to help you out of this hell, you will regret all crimes and learn to love and after years of suffering if you pray well you will be sent to earth to see how you will live and what changes have come . But it seems unbelievable but God has also given the power to forget so we forget the pain we went through and started living as new person.............................

The meaning of life is to get to heaven.....

So if you believe in God and follow his principles it is good for you only you no one will suffer for you.
Or ignore and try what will happen.............

This message is for every one so that every one can go to heaven and do good,,,, I wouldnt like any one do go to hell.
Any way there is a power God who has created the universe, sun and tiny insects like bacteria, That is not man made so if you believe in those then why not these...............

Every of us are born with a purpose.....to search our identity in this vast creation amidst all distractions....this is actually the task we've in life......and I believe the meaning will come out the day the task is accomplished.

As the Lord God was creating this world

Essentially I think that we are basically the universe (or God or whatever you want to call it) realizing itself and creating a vision of itself within itself(Ya follow haha?). I think that one positive creative energy is behind all things and that it is looking and learning about itself through it's variety of creations and in turn learning about itself and what it can create and how miraculous and beautiful it can become. Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein the most respected and accomplished scientists in history both died believing that we exist within the mind of God or in different words, exist within the expanding mind of the universe. Essentially that we have a higher power behind us that is united and universal(Infinite/Without limits). Buddha said the same thing "The objective (outer) world arises from the mind". Creation(Our visable universe) is actually just an inner vision just as Jewish and Hindu and many other ancient mystics proclaimed. So the purpose here is to learn about ourselves, our very nature(Truth) and in order to exist here happily and progress, I believe we have to learn to create positively (Basically with Mind and Heart energy) rather than creating negative things/energy(Which is of course actually destuctive and not creative at all) . We should also learn to cherish and respect life and all of creation more than we currently do as a planet. I do believe that love has something to do with it. I do believe that the real energy behind creation is a love of self, a love of life and a love of creation/mystery. We are born of love as many ancient spiritual teachings have said.
