Ok. This is my first time with a Betta fish. It's nice looking, aqua colored with a hint of red. I named it Stitch

I bought a .5 gallon tank (or whatever you call it..the walls are plastic) and it came with multicolored gravels, a thing to make tap water suitable for Stitch, and fish flakes.

1. How often do I feed it?
2. How often should I do a water change
3. I know you guys are going to blast at me for the .5 gallon tank, so what's a suitable gallon capacity for a betta fish?
4. Right now it's under my computer desk light, and the waters getting cold, will the desk light warm it up a little bit?
5. I had it for 2 days now, and it's swimming around, but it won't eat its flakes..is there a time when it eats them? Like at night or something?
6. Is there other options besides feeding it flakes?

P.S. Please don't bash me for the .5 gallon tank.

People are criticizing me because I want a baby shower for my second child.

With my first, I had to move the date of the shower, so only like 10 people were able to come.

I am going to have a party to welcome my new child.

Is this wrong, am I asking too much from people.

The kids will be about 19 months apart.

I just gave all of the newborn clothes away, and just got rid of bottles before I found out.

If any well known white person says something remotely considered racist, he has not only Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson jumping down his throat, he also has the entire community condemning his words. But if someone other than white makes similiar remarks, no one cares. WHY????

For example, the other night I happen to see an episode of Carlos Mencia (I was really bored, ok!!) where he was parading around in BLACK-FACE and using all kinds racist words. But he gets to do so because he last name is: Mencia. So what!! This guy can't even do a correct impression of a Mexican; yet he gets the "privilege" of being racist???

I have two ciclids and a parrot fish right now in my 30g, which work pretty nicely together. once in a while though, the male will get agressive and sort of territorial with the others, but it's never been a problem.

here's the dillema: i really want some smaller fish to put in the tank (mollies, pladdys) to fill it up just a little bit, but i'm not sure if he'll get in fights with them. he's been okay with my kuhli loaches and algea eaters, buuuut...

i'm not sure. advice??

I have an xp computer. I have converted the shows to mpeg but all i need now is a software program that allows me to watch the shows on my television. I have been using Movie edit pro 2004 but it keeps leaving a schreeching sound. I dont have a dvd burner so i have to keep putting them on cdrs.

I shave my legs regularly but i am unsure if i should shave all the way up my thigh or not. I have in the past and i found that when I sit down I itch. It doesnt ich when i just shave from the knee down but im just not sure if i shave above that. Can I get some help here =)

I'm fat. I'm 5'10 and 260 pounds. I'm a big tall girl and also fat. I know i have to change things for my health... but my grandmother wants me to change because of my looks and how i look to people. She tells me my youth is wasted and im not going no where in life because im fat. My mother says the same things to me and she degrades me to them and tells my family all the negative things i do and never my accomplishments. she calls me out my name all the time.. says im never gonna progress in college.. and even when i wasnt that fat at all i use to be 180 pounds i still went through this. she put me through all hell. i really feel hate for them right now because it shouldnt be like this. but im tired and im ready to move out of my house and not see them again. i dont let them make me feel like a loser... but thats what they see me as. my grandmother told me i have no future because im FAT.
