I have an xp computer. I have converted the shows to mpeg but all i need now is a software program that allows me to watch the shows on my television. I have been using Movie edit pro 2004 but it keeps leaving a schreeching sound. I dont have a dvd burner so i have to keep putting them on cdrs.

You said you have XP. Is it Pro?

Well, I'm guessing it isn't. Here's CD Burner XP Pro, for you. It does the WMA format of Windows Movie Maker, too. http://www.cdburnerxp.se/download.php

Lemme guess, you don't know about Windows XP Movie Maker either, right? Well, here you go, for that, too.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

If you updated your Service Pack 2, they should already be there. http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

Here are some more freewares http://www.snapfiles.com/get/fecddvd.html

VCDEasy at videohelp.com. Get the last free version (latest version cost $$$) as it still works fine. Use that to burn MPEGs onto CD-Rs in VCD format. Works great.
