I do own guns, but no hand guns. I have rifles for hunting, and that is what they are used for. A hand gun (to me) is only used to kill another human being. So, the real question is, if there are no hand guns would this curb violence. Think about it. You can still be protected with a rifle, it's just harder to hide and bring in a school or other public facility. I am a firm believer in the right to bear arms. I just think gangs and things like what happened yesterday at Va Tech would be curbed drastically if there were no hand guns allowed. What is your feelings on this or possible solution?

-My heater, fan, A/C only works on high speed
-Just replaced the alternator and had an oil change about 3 weeks ago.

I mean what is seriously going on??? We have blatant racism still..even on public media. We have 32 dead at a place of learning. Rapists, child molesters, war, weird Hollywood influences, mass consumerism, poverty. Is this hell on Earth??? It seems pain is everywhere. What will it take to turn this around and unite together and live to help and uplift those around us. Seriously after yesterday's shooting, even though I'm states away, I just feel like I was shot in the foot and my hope was deflated for humanity. The scariest thing is that a day is not normal in other countries if something similar to this does not happen. Where is God??

Tragic event with noone to blame but the psycho who did it, but where I live, there are many people who legally possess and carry concealed firearms. Citizens who are responsible and well trained in their use. Now even with a permit, it is illegal to carry a firearm in places such as schools, but generally speaking it is situations like this that make it more apparent to me that those of us who are responsible and feel the need to should consider carrying a firearm.

That we should NOT amend the constitution to ban guns? I mean, personally, I don't own a gun because I don't feel I need one. But the choice is there for me if I wanted one. I have a choice. However, if we start messing around and amending the constitution to ban guns - that would scare me - because to me, that would mean they could amending it to eliminate our other rights. Does anyone else agree with me?
