I have never ended up in the wrong state, However, when I was younger, (before 18yo) I was always drunk. Now I am lucky if I get drunk once a year.
I think the older that you get, the less fun it is to be drunk and you just get to old to deal with the hang overs.
Also, I have children and I don't want them to see me in that condition. What kind of example would I be setting as a parent if they did?

Never happened. I got drunk in another state once and don't remember how my husband got us home, though. Slept on the bathroom floor that night.

Think Seventies! Been There. Lived That. It was either Drink? Or listen to Disco.
But I learned what was causing it.
Yeah, that's right Disco was.
