God can never be caught off guard. He knows what will happen before it happened. I believe he allowed the events of 9/11 to happend as a wake up call for America. We are heading (fast) down the wrong road, and we need to repent, change our ways and get back to God. God was the foundation of this country, and if the foundation is removed, our country will surely crumble.

Yes God was there advising the people to jump out the windows instead of roasting, That way they would at least have a cool trip down before ending up in Hell. That's all the good your God did in 9/11. He said at least you got the bastards who hijacked the planes. Live with it.

God knows everything that is going to happen before it does. God also never promises that nothing bad is going to happen to us in our earthly life. We can rest assured, however, that if we know Jesus Christ ... victory will be ours in the end.
We all have free will thoroughly available to us. The hijackers on 9/11 are a perfect (but sad example) of the practice of free will. However, we do know for a fact that a reward from Allah WAS NOT waiting for those terrorists when their lives ended.

Since God is scattered in multiple individual Heaven cells in the minds of millions of gullible morons, He could hardly have done anything to prevent such carnage.

God was there. The greatest gift he gave to mankind was free will. Therefore, bad things will happen when people choose to do them. But the evidence in God was in how ordinary people became heroes, and the response of the nation coming together.
Now, the devil is weakening it again, and people are letting him.
