Hi, can anyone suggest any feel good songs to listen to?

Not to do with men, just about yourself. No angst, just some feel good words to boost your self esteem?

Many thanks in advance!

Make It Happen by Mariah Carey is a great song; Holiday by Madonna; Holla Back Girl by Gwen Stefani, Hips Don't Lie by Shakira; All My Exes Live In Texas by George Strait, Do You Wanna by Franz Ferdinand - That should be enough to chase the blues away!

Christina Aguilera - Beautiful, Voice Within

I chose these two because the words are supposed to boost your self-esteem. They're not fast, when you listen to them you can't help moving and feeling better type songs.

I tend to listen to David Cassidy spng and the one that makes me feel good is - I Can Feel Your Heartbeat, or even the Rock Me Baby makes me feel good. Failing that I just tend to put instrumental tunes of a well know song.

Martina McBride's "Happy Girl".

Chorus:
"Oh watch me go/I'm a happy girl/everybody knows/that the sweetest thing you'll ever see/in the whole wide world/is a happy girl"

The song is such a happy tune and makes you want to hop around and dance like nobody's watching! ;)

PussyCat Dolls- I Don't Need A Man

Makes you feel good about being an independent girl and confident that you don't need anyone to take care of you!

"I want a love that's for real, and without that-no deal!
I don't need your hand if it only wants to grab on thing!"

My Sweet Lord by George Harrison. I'm not in the least religious but this song makes me feel so happy!

Try Sheryl Crow's "I'm gonna soak up the sun"
My friend the communist • Holds meetings in his RV • I can't afford his gas • So I'm stuck here watching TV • I don't have digital • I don't have diddly squat • It's not having what you want • It's wanting what you've got o • CHORUS: I'm gonna soak up the sun • Gonna tell everyone • To lighten up (I'm gonna tell 'em that) • I've got no one to blame • For every time I feel lame • I'm looking up o I'm gonna soak up the sun • I'm gonna soak up the sun • I've got a crummy job • It don't pay near enough • To buy the things it takes • To win me some of your love • Every time I turn around • I'm looking up, you're looking down • Maybe something's wrong with you • That makes you act the way you do • CHORUS • I'm gonna soak up the sun • While it's still free • I'm gonna soak up the sun • Before it goes out on me • Don't have no master suite • I'm still the king of me • You have a fancy ride, but baby • I'm the one who has the key • Every time I turn around • I'm looking up, you're looking down • Maybe something's wrong with you • That makes you act the way you do • Maybe I am crazy too • CHORUS • I'm gonna soak up the sun • Got my 45 on • So I can rock on •
