I realize today is the day that everything is due, but I was wondering if I could still send out the 1099s at this point? I'm filing an extension and I just completely forgot to take care of the 1099s. Is there some sort of penalty I could just pay and go ahead and send them out? None of the people called to find out where their forms were.

My ex & I were 2gether 61/2 yrs. My daughter was 2 when we got 2gether. Now she just turnd 8 & I have 2 other children w/ my ex. I felt he always treatd my oldest a lil different, I know bcause she wasn't his. She's really attachd to his family, since the split he hasnt really made n e effort to take her when he comes for the other 2 on his weekends. He says he told her she can call him whenever but she never calls her. I try & ask him how he can treat her like this, she even calls him dad & he says its her fault bcause he said she could call him & doesnt. I try & xplain that shes 8 & he should b the one making her feel wantd. He even thru r 1 yr. old a b-day party & that day happen 2 get made at me & told me not to bring my oldst to the party, that she could go to the party I have for r baby. How can he b so heartless?? I recently felt like I want 2 try & make it wrk but the way hes treatd my oldest is eating @ me. Why wood I want 2 make it wrk w/ some1 like that right??

OK, let's take a look at this. We all know that guns are not allowed on college. However, this shooter went on a college campus, with a gun, IN CLEAR VIOLATION of the no-guns-on-campus law!

Can you believe that this mass-murderer violated a gun law????

You can? Well, so can I. So, if guns were illegal, what makes you think he would completely comply with that law? After all, marijuana is illegal, and we all know how it is IMPOSSIBLE to buy marijuana anywhere in America, right?

Let's see what this guy is thinking, if we had gun control laws:

"I want to go kill 20 people. I am REALLY mad. But, if I buy a black-market gun, that would be ILLEGAL, and I can't do anything illegal, so I guess I'll just give up my plan"

I have paid my whole way through college (about $30,000). I still owe about $3700. My Mom and step-dad (who do not talk and are not married anymore) split the money owed so I could graduate in June. I want to do something inexpensive for both of them (seperatly) as a way of saying thank you. I need an idea for my step-dad (whom I am not very close with anymore). He likes gunsmithing, animals, hunting etc. Any ideas?

My son turned 1 about 3 weeks ago. He constantly babbles, squeals, & sings in church. Just wondering how to help him realize that church is quiet time.

Fortunately, the people in my church are very understanding & tolerant of babies. I just don't want my son to get out of hand...

Any ideas??

*Even if you don't attend church, maybe you have techniques that you use at the library or other "quiet" places.
