A beautiful skyline looking down toward the ocean at Diamond Head in Hawaii. The landscape is absolutely breath-taking! Too bad what is in the foreground of the picture does not look as good. See, this is my favorite picture because it has quite a story behind it. When I took this trip, one of my goals was to see Diamond Head. I heard it was a major tourist attraction, and it is as awe-inspiring as everyone says it is.

Unfortunately, as many travelers know, upset stomach tends to go along with traveling. There was a bathroom at the base of the mountain, which I took advantage of before walking the trail. Diamond Head Trail is 1 ¾ miles to the rim and takes about 1 ½ hours. After about 10 minutes into the walk, nature called again, but I had to ignore and get past it. I thought there would be another bathroom at the top, so I painstakingly completed the trek up the sometimes steep inclines. By the time I got to the top, I was in absolute misery trying to hold back nature. When I discovered there were no bathroom facilities at the top, my traveling companions snapped a quick picture of me before I practically ran all the way back downstairs and to the bathroom at the trailhead. Luckily I made it in time, but from my picture, you can tell I was worried.

See link for beautiful pictures...but not the one I'm in.

It's a picture of me in my grandma and grandpas back yard. The lake was calm and the sun was setting. There is a sailboat really close, close enough to where you can see the lady waving and she's wearing a bikini. It is also cute because I'm in it.

My other fav is a picture of my sons going to grandmas for the first time by themselves. She lived across the road and you can see the woods and there's a whooping crane in the ditch. They were holding hands and grinning like idiots. We never saw the crane while the picture was being taken. We noticed it after the picture was taken.
