OK, let's take a look at this. We all know that guns are not allowed on college. However, this shooter went on a college campus, with a gun, IN CLEAR VIOLATION of the no-guns-on-campus law!

Can you believe that this mass-murderer violated a gun law????

You can? Well, so can I. So, if guns were illegal, what makes you think he would completely comply with that law? After all, marijuana is illegal, and we all know how it is IMPOSSIBLE to buy marijuana anywhere in America, right?

Let's see what this guy is thinking, if we had gun control laws:

"I want to go kill 20 people. I am REALLY mad. But, if I buy a black-market gun, that would be ILLEGAL, and I can't do anything illegal, so I guess I'll just give up my plan"

Right?

my only thing about gun control? I just don't think people should be able to buy a howitzer for their jeep.. other than that I really don't care.

Want a good laugh! in Pennsylvania, there is backing for a bill that would limit you to purchasing one gun a month, no more.

Now, most hunters, sportsmen might buy 4-5 guns in a lifetime. I suppose a criminal would say,"oh, I already bought two this month. I'd better return one before I get in trouble with the law."[

Which would you prefer, getting shot at close range with a pistol, or having your car get t-boned by a speeding driver??
If I get killed by a speeding car will there be outrage for GM making anything more high performance than a Saturn? LOL!

I agree completely. If this guy was hell bent on killing, he could have built a bomb. People need to wake up and realize people kill people. Guns don't kill people. And criminals will ALWAYS find a way to get weapons. All gun laws do is prevent law abiding citizens from obtaining certain guns. These laws are absurd and idiotic. If I want to buy a handgun and plan on using it in illegal activity, do you think I would buy it from a place where I get a background check?

Yes it is proof, good question.

I think it was a tragedy first and foremost and my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.

The killer alone caused the crime, but the high number of victims is directly caused by gun control.

They were just sitting ducks with no way to defend themselves much like the victims of Colin Ferguson. Concealed-carry advocates warned us all long ago to expect tragedies like this as long as we have gun control.

When only criminals have guns the rest of us can only ponder tactics like "notifications."

In a state where concealed-carry is allowed or promoted, the loss of life could have been much less. He may have shot one or two, but a concealed-carrier would have dispatched him right quick.

Sadly there is no way to prevent a killer with a gun. In tribal Africa where there are no manufactured guns, tribesman make them from pipes and rubber-bands so clearly gun control is not the answer. You can make a gun out of wood in an hour! He could have stabbed just as many with a knife.

Since you will never stop the OFFENSE, we must allow ourselves a DEFENSE. We are not all of one culture anymore, so violence will only increase.

The only way to prevent these killing rampages is concealed-carry. Would you rather protect yourself or wait for the folly of police or school "notification?”

Look at it as proof that Bush policy works.

Stricter Laws is the answer. We should also make it against the law to get pregnant if you can not afford to send the child to college.

And AIDS that should also be against the law.
