(see I knew that would get the Believers to click... they can't help it)

So fellow athiests, many 'believers' think that since we do not have "god" to guide us, that we have no morals. Hell, I guess I should be going on a killing spree right now since I have no "fear of the conciquences" (ie: 'hell')

So it leads many of us to believe that the only reason "believers" are moral is because they fear Hell and Satan... not because it's wrong to kill someone etc.

Fellow Athiests my question is this: How/Why are you a good person? If you don't have 'god' what defines right from wrong for you? If you don't have a fear of Hell, why are you a good person?

I'm organizing a bake sale at my school, beause I'm doing a cancer fundraiser. I've already thought of doing things like muffins, cookies, brownies, and cupcakes, but I need good recipies. Or ideas. Or really, I'm open to anything. But, there can't be any peanut butter in anything because we have some kids who are serverly allergic. So any good ideas for the recipies?

i don't understand chemistry at all and i have this problem to do for homework. I really want to learn how to do this but i just can't figure it out. i did get part of it but then after that i'm lost. Can anyone help?

Here's the problem:

What volume of each of the following bases will react completely with 25.00 ml of 0.200 M HCl?
a. 0.100 M NaOH
b. 0.0500 M Ba(OH)2

I set up the first part (involving base a) HCl+Na(OH)-----> H(OH) + NaCl

What i did so far is i changed the vol of HCl to .025 L. I also multiplied .025 L HCl by .200 Mol/L = .005 Mol

Did i do it right so far? Please help me for the rest b/c i can't get it. Thank you so much!!

What legal action could I take against a service shop or warranty company that ended up charging me money for something that is covered by warranty. Shop worked on my car on a part that warranty covered, and didn't check something they were supposed to check in the process and 1 week later the part they were supposed to check went bad (due to them not checking) my warranty wouldn't cover the labor again (5hrs). in the process service personnel at the shop lied, refused to dispute the warranty company, and on top of it was extremely (to the extreme) rude, called me a liar etc.
In the end service manager ''agreed'' to cover 50% of labor cost (they took the engine apart without my permission and claimed they got my permission over the phone, no signature) and I needed my car to go to work so by this point I had no other choice but to pay the left over part to get my car back.
I am not looking for a quick buck I just want my money back from the last 2 repairs,1st repair I paid deductible

There are some people that live down the street from me, and have 9 dogs, and 3 cats, and my dog had puppies, and they want one. I feel like I should not let them have another one because I feel like enough is enough, they need to concentrate on taking care of there 2 kids first. I mean they have sent their kids to my house to ask for food, because they don't have anything to eat, but they keep getting more pets, am I wrong about this?

Dear President Bush:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's
Law. I have learned a great deal from you, and try to share that knowledge
with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the
homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that
Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination... End of
debate.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other
elements of God's Laws and how to follow them...
1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male And
female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A
friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not
Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in
Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair
price for her?
3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in
her period of menstrual uncleanliness Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is,
how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates
a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is, my
neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I
smite them?
5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus
35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally
obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it?
6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an
abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than
homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are
there 'degrees' of abomination?
7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I
have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading
glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some
wiggle-room here?
8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the
hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden
by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?
9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig
makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two
different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing
garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester
blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really
necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town
together to stone them? - Lev. 24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn
themto death at a private family affair, as we do with people who sleep
with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy
considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can
help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal
and unchanging.

This shouldn't be used as a bashing forum, but for Heaven's sake, what is wrong with this woman?! She is anti-American and full of hatered. No wonder why so many people hate the U.S. It's because of citizens like her who have nothing good to say about our government. She thinks 9/11 was all a conspiracy. What nerve in her uneducated mind is making her believe that? She really seems like a nice lady, but when you get down to her opinions, she's crazy. I tell you what, I sure feel sorry for the conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck having to sit by this woman on The View. I feel embarrassed when I watch ABC. Keep up the good work, Fox News.
