It is so hot because:

"Phoenix is located at 33°31'42" North, 112°4'35" West (33.528370°, -112.076300°)GR1 in the Salt River Valley, or "Valley of the Sun", in central Arizona. It lies at a mean elevation of 1,117 feet (340 m), in the northern reaches of the Sonoran Desert."

In other words, it is only about 33 degrees from the equator, it is not at a very high elevation, and it is in a desert.

Also it "...is called Hoozdo, or "the place is hot", in the Navajo language...", which I thought was pretty interesting.

2 motives- wasteland (real) and elevation. Phoenix is in a wasteland valley between 2 mountain belts. This money owed for the low rainfall. Fewer clouds, extra image voltaic radiation receives by ability of. a lot less water contained in the floor, fewer flora to soak up similar. it really is a city, too, which ususally elements 5-10 ranges to the microclimate. The elevation section is equipped in once you concentration on environment stress. Tombstone, added south, is in a lot of circumstances 10-15 ranges cooler, and Flagstaff, added north, is a lot cooler that you will be snowed in at the same time as Phoenix is seventy 5 ranges. both one among those cities are larger in elevation.

The Rockie mountains somehow stop all the rain and dampness from coming through, that's why all the places by there are really hot and desert like.

that is why its so hot

I thought it was because of the women.
I lived in Chandler, Arizona when I was about 4 years old. Still got the picture of my Bonita Senorita and me. I had my Cowboy Hat, Boots, Stick Pony and Six Shooter.

Because its in the middle of a f-cking desert. When you don't see top soil and no real trees then it must be really hot, because the sun has soaked up all they area's water.
