A contractor pointed out that I have hail damage on my siding, and that my insurance will cover it. He will also negotiate with the insurance adjuster to work out a price for repairs (re-siding my entire house). But, the more I think about it, if the amount that the insurance will provide for the work is signifigant, I may tell the contractor to have a nice day and do the work myself. Using the extra money to buy windows. I just don't know if there is legal issues with doing this?

In 1999, Washington-based war-mongering think-tank The Project for a New American Century (PNAC) asked their top "thinkers" (including Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and Perle) to outline a Pax Americana for the new millennium. Their paper, entitled "Rebuilding America's Defenses", called for a return to Cold War levels of defensive spending, expansion into space-based weaponry, and strategic repositioning of the USA in the Middle East for control of natural resources. However, the report warned that such a transformation

"... is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor."

Hey, heres my prob:
I am gay and not out of the closet yet. One of my friends is really hot and i have feelings for him- he's not gay, but im not sure. On the surface, he's straight. I've known him for 4 years and I've seen him in a lot of dif. relationships, but he didnt seem too involved. He makes off the cuff gay remarks under his breath, that only i can hear and when i say, what? he says nothing and nobody hears him. He does other things also, and i havent seen it myself, but i hear when he's drunk, he has gay tendencies. I have major feelings for him and I'm pretty sure he can be swayed. Heres my two questions:

How can i sway him?

If sum1 has gay tendencies when theyre drunk, does that mean theyre bisexual or gay?

thanks

This is another of those phrases that confuses me. I hear people refer to themselves as 'being saved', but they never clarify what they were saved from beyond saying "sin". Well, isn't it just a choice to behave yourself that would "save" you from "sin"? What would anyone or anything else have to do in the matter? Aren't you just denying your own responsibility to act as if you do not have some sort of choice in the matter?

So, "saved" from what?

I had a problem with a tennant who had mental health problems. The tennant was harrassing me and the baby by obstructing my pathway, playing around with inflammable spirit, verbal abuse and there was arson and well as the tennant putting inflammable stuff across my door amongst other things. I have prove from the council that they did not take me seriously in a letter to a parliament consititient. Evenually, the tennant was arrested and is in custody awaiting trial with crown court. The council never returned my calls. Could I sue them?

This is a Weber DFAV progressive carburetor--whenever I rebuild it I usually end up with too much fast idle for weather conditions but I don't know what adjustment is responsible. It does eventually unload so I don't think it is a vacuum leak. The fast idle speed is okay if it were needed. If possible I would like to fix it without removing from engine since every time needs a new gasket and not available locally. Anyone familiar with this carb?

I uploaded video lectures by many colleges and universities and also many documentaries from PBS, BBC, including Cosmos, by Carl Sagan, etc.

I am very worried, because I am 15 and I don't want to get sued. I am just making these contents available so we can all have access to this content. I am worried tha I might be sued. Can that happen?

If, for instance, PBS sends a complain to Google for having PBs documentaries available there and Google gives me information to them, does that mean that Google is not responsable for letting me post these videos there and I will be one who will be sued? Please help, I am kind of worried, a lot.

I don't know much about the subject. Please feel free to use links - I hate to think of people typing for a long timeAnd still having only the potential for 10 points ;)
