if you are building a computer with two hard drives then i would suggest 150gb thats 300gb but it also depends on what you want the computer for... but if you already have the 2 HD's then what i would do is put music and photos on one and then things such as word documents and more important things on the other that way just incase you get a virus in the music HD then it wont affect the other

From my own personal understanding, there is only one hard drive in a computer with a partition installed. one side (usually C:) has program files on it. The other side (usually D:) has your operating system on it, which you shouldn't alter or change and generally denies access. You should probably leave at least 5 MB of free space on C:

Hi. The larger capacity drive should have the majority of photos, music, etc. stored on it. You do not mention drive size but if you have 160GB then you can partition it to use 20, say, as your OS drive and the other 140GB as storage. Makes backups more efficient.

i have 2 hard-drives also.
1 i use just for storage
1 for operating systems and programs(and storage)

How many MB's????Maybe add til they are full???
