They talk about Satan alot because he is a big part of life. The Bible teaches that anything that is not of God is of the devil and that this world is the devils. Satan in a sense rules Earth. I believe there is an entire realm here on Earth that we cannot see. I believe that in this realm demons and angels are constantly fighting. Satan and his demons are here around us all the time and even if we are already saved and going to heaven he still messes with us and tries to keep us from doing Gods will and from leading others to God. Being a christian is a battle. I'm not sure that christians talk about Satan more than anyone else... especially more than God... not the ones Im around anyway... but talking about Satan is important so people can see what is of him and what is of God. Christianity believes that Satan is in control of this world now until Jesus returns. Satan is continually trying to convince you God does not exist or that you do not need him. I do not know if there are any other religions out there who believe there is a devil except Judaism. By the way, I do not have faith in Satan. Do you?

I totally disagree with your statement. I do not believe Christians talk about Satan more then anyone else. In fact, I rarely see Christians talk about Satan at all. I would argue that Christians don't talk about Satan enough.
Y!A, is a great example there is only a very few occurances of people talking about Satan as compared to other spiritual beings/realities.

Satan is the slum lord or this planet , but Jesus is King and Lord of the Universe. They are just advising you of who your adversary is and who is out to steal your soul. Can you believe that people are still smoking in this day and age when the dangers are publicized on the package. Now who do you think is behind Cigarettes, alcohol, drugs,gluttony and all the other vices of this world. Who do you think is behind the thoughts that temp you to do the things you know you should not do. Well maybe it is the sugar plumb ferry.
If you can't hear the whispers, you will hear the screams perhaps. If not then poof you disappear and never heard from again. Well good luck with your religion or what ever.

I know - although this tends to happen in the Pentacostel breed, such as Assembly of God more then any other denom.
There seems to be this fascination with Satan and what he is doing at any given time. They give him more power then he is ever given any where in the bible.
If they truly had faith, they would realize they had nothing to fear. And maybe they would spend more time on the rest of Christianity then on describing Satan's every move.

honey there are 2 forces at work in the universe, and they are not Darth Vader vs whatchacallit. It is satan vs. God, it has been for eons. It is a fact. satan is %50 of the equation. God is the good, the love, the light, the creator. satan is the bad, the dark, the destroyer. I hope you choose to give your heart and life to God if you have not already. I'd like to meet you in

Faith in Satan? Not even close.
Satan is a deceiver. And as Christians we're warned to be wary of the things that he does. And sometimes, unfortunately, that involves bringing up his name.
I have no faith in a loser, only in a winner, Jesus Christ.

Christians don't have faith in satan. I don't talk more about satan. I do love to talk about Jesus Christ though.

Because they are trying to "Save" us from Satan. So in order for you to know who you are being saved from the name "Satan" must be repeated multiple times.
Satan is nothing. Satanism is about worshiping yourself. They use Christians ideas of "Satan" as a replica for thinking for yourself and doing what you feel is right.
