I have a question... I have two dogs (both rescued from the pound). Both are given heart worm and flee/tick meds as well as all but one of their shots together and on a regular basis. Here is my problem. They were adopted at different times of the year so Bella, the oldest, gets her Rabies shot in December and Heidi gets hers in May. When I called the vet and asked if I could somehow get them on the same schedule I was told to just wait until May and get both of them done then, not before. Does that sound right? Can Heidi get her shot a month early or will it hurt her?
Anyway, I am worried that if Bella gets out she might be quarantined or put down. (99% of the time she is passive - unless she is cornered or thinks Heidi or the family are being threatened - then all 20 lbs of her thinks she is Napoleon or something.) We are also moving at the end of the month which adds to my worry that she might get out...
Thanks for the help!
