What my purpose in life is:
I choose my own purpose. It's a wonderful feeling. If I meet someone who needs help, I'll help them for them, not for a God, and it feels wonderful to have that human contact. The same with animals.
How to be moral:
It's common sense- treat others the way you'd like to be treated. It's a universal concept that has existed longer than any religion today.
How to be a good wife, sister, friend, etc:
I care about these people because I love them. I do what makes them happy, and what will help them grow if I feel the need to mentor.
I'm not an Atheist but I don't believe in God either, and I certainly make my own rules reguarding my life. I think I do a pretty good job.
My question is, why do so many people think only a God can do this for you? They act like Atheists are immoral, but that's a horrible predjudice. I hope I helped you understand their (and mine) point of view a little better.
