I always hear that the CHI is good. But those things are about $125. Get a ceramic iron that lets you set the temperature and keep it kind of low. Also make sure your hair is well conditioned and moisturized before you put heat on it. To not have to use it every day, try wrapping your hair at night so it has an automatic "bend" in it and you wont have to use the flat iron as much. If you wrap it every night, you won't have to use the flat as often (depending on your hair style).

hi Shaney, i'm a stylist and that i've got super tight curls! First, conair isn't a style for us. What you like is a ceramic or tourmaline straightener and blow dryer. you do no longer could get the blow dryer even nevertheless it does help. Use a shine serum or warmth keeping mist earlier you straighten to chop back the frizz. At paintings I actual have a Ceramic professional flat iron. At domicile I actual have a $15 Andis ceramic flat iron from Wal Mart and it works only an identical. That factor is super astounding- do exactly no longer turn the warmth each and every of how up. once you first purchase a sparkling flat iron, apply it to the backside temperature after which circulate up till you detect the properly suited one for you. i desire this enables and be chuffed to invite me greater!

They are all damaging. Chi probally is the best but I've spent tons of money on the best flat irons because I HAVE to iron my hair everyday or else it looks horrible. Even with Chi my hair still breaks and is dry. I have to use really good products to prevent this so you might want to invest in products.

Heat is heat...your hair is going to get damaged with regular use of a flat iron. the ceramic ones are best for distributing heat evenly, etc. Your best bet is to treat your hair before flat ironing it. Use a product with a silicone in it to protect, that way the product takes the brunt of the heat (you will see "steam" come off your hair when you flat iron with a good product )

if you put that much heat to your hair everyday naturally its goign to get damaged.. but to help it get less damaged.. the CHI straightner is the way to go.. not the CHI turbo.. but just the regular CHI... its not too expensive and it works extreemly well.. and it doesn't damage your hair as bad as other straightners would... what u should try to do is wash your hair every other day.. or even less than that.. and try to go a couple of days or more without straightening it... so yoru hair doesn't have to much processed heat on it.. however long you can keep yoru hair straightened without washing it the better.. just use it to ya know.. straighten the little bumps that you get.. but try not to do it everday..

The Chi! But make sure you use the Chi styling products to prevent drying out your hair, otherwise you will burn your hair!

conair 3/4 inch straightener works great for me, i also use VO5 straightening gel it really helps keep in the moisture. I would try the gel first with your current straightener, its only like $3 and you only need a little bit each day, its worth it.
