Here are some examples: He had to write 10 sentences with Appositives behind a non-subject noun. 1. A lot of people drink soda, a fizzy drink. On the last sentence he misspelled Illinois (-5 points) Did not capitalize Illinois(-5) forgot the common (-10) and forgot the period (-10) All the other sentences were correct. He recieved a 70 on paper. I think if she counts the mistakes she has to give equal credit to the correct sentences??? That one sentence was worth 25 points out of 10 total sentences. It doesn't make sense. Also on his spelling words, he has to 20-25 words them 5 times each. Each handwriting mistake she takes off five points. For example he will write excellent, 5 X -5 no loop on the e,t -5 no loop on the l, -5 forgot to fully cross the T. The point is that this is subjective grading. She can be as lenient or as picky as she wants. She can take off more points than she gives credit. Is this worth complaining about? Its in other subjects too.

I am sure this will really make some people angry but if a person who is supported by the government (us, the ones who work and pay taxes) keeps having children, what is the solution to this problem?......these kids are born almost without a chance of having a good life.......it isn't fair to them and it isn't fair to us.....wouldn't manditory sterilization be a good answer and to the benefit of all, inclluding the ones who keep making the babies?........

Alright I need 2 names for the main characters in my story.

Female:
Scienctist (just out of college) (major in marine), smart, athletic, American, age: mid 20s

Male:
Military Personal, smart, strong, American, age:28

They are almost like the two main characters from The Mummy (love that movie). I love the name Evelyn, but do not wish to use it (almost like copying). Richard is cool too, but again, copying.

I think I am going to go with Dimitri for his first name, but I still need opinions!! Oh, and I wish for them to have a longer name and therefore get a nickname. (I know Dimitri doesn't fall in that category, but I just love that name)

Need first and last!! Please and Thank You!!

I have a 4 year old female Yorkshire terrier whom we occasionally breed to bring in a little extra cash. She is currently in heat, there a mutts everywhere outside my home, and I currently have no desire to mate her, especially with an undesired suiter. These dogs have been causing alot of problems lately such as chasing my cats, tearing into my garbage, and loitering in my front lawn. My question is, how do I keep the strays away from my home without having to get my dog fixed. Is there some sort of spray I can by to deter them from my home? I would start picking them off with a .22 but aside from the fact that thats mean, I don't want to get in trouble with the law. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I know I'm opening a big can of worms here.. but lets keep it civil.

Clinton has been a staunch supporter of the legal right of a woman to end her pregnancy by abortion as determined in the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision of 1973. Clinton believes that the acceptance and availability of birth control and sex education will reduce unwanted pregnancies and the number of abortions.

In a speech on January 24, 2005, to the New York State Family Planning Providers, Senator Clinton outlined her stance on abortion. "When I spoke to the conference on women in Beijing in 1995 — ten years ago this year — I spoke out against any government interfering with the reproductive rights and decisions of women and families. So we have a lot of experience from around the world that is a cautionary tale about what happens when a government substitutes its opinion for an individual's.
