Eight lights are connected in parallel to a 110-V source by two long leads of total resistance 1.6 ohms. If 240 mA flows through each bulb, what is the resistance of each, and what fraction of the total power is wasted in the leads?


Please show work so I will understand how to work similar problems.

my husband & i have been having a few problems & i haven't felt that close to him the past week or so...
last night i woke up out of a bad dream to my husband trying to "get some" ... i don't know if he was fully awake or not, as he tends to get a bit sexual in his sleep ... but as our intimacy has been a bit lacking lately & i had been having a bad dream, i pulled away & told him to "stop!" a few times, but he wouldn't.it's not that i don't want to have sex with him, ever. i rarely turn him down. it's just that this time he woke me up out of a dead sleep at 1 am when i happened to be having a bad dream also...

i don't know what to do! i don't know how to bring it up, since i'm not even sure he was fully awake. i just feel sorta hollow & detached now, and used, and depressed....

please help me sort this out & figure out what to do & say...

Okay i'm a 22 yr old bride to be. I ordered $126 worth of stuff from a website called favorfrenzy.com. I ordered it march 8th, 2007. I paid $20 extra to have it shipped in 3-6 days. It's been 3 weeks and i still have not gotten the package. I e-mailed the company 7 times and have gotten no response. I got my credit card bill the other day and there was a phone number on it, i tried calling it and it doesn't work. There is no address on their site or my bill. IDK what to do! I don't want to pay my credit card bill for stuff that i didn't get. I tried e-mailing them asking for a refund. I talked to my postal carrier and she said there was nothing she could do b/c they didn't give me any type of confirmation number for delivery. what should i do ??? should i call my credit card company??? what should i say?? please help!!!

I have an 8 inch telescope, and I am looking at Solar and Lunar filters. It looks like the Lunar Filter is small and goes on the eyepiece, but the Solar Filter is larger (8 inch). Is this correct?

This scene took place on a BA flight between Johannesburg, South Africa and London, England. A white woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a black man.
Obviously disturbed by this, she called the air hostess.
"You obviously do not see it then?" she said.
"You placed me next to a black man. I do not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat." "Be calm please," the hostess replied.
"Almost all the places on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another place is available." The hostess went away and then came back a few minutes later.
"Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in the Economy Class. I spoke to the captain and he informed me that there is also no seat in the Business Class.
All the same, we still have one place in the First Class."
Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued.
"It is not usual for our company to permit someone from the Economy Class to sit in the First Class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone sooo disgusting."

She turned to the black guy, and said, "Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in First Class."
At that moment, the other passengers, who'd been shocked by what they had just witnessed, stood up and applauded.
This is a true story.
