I don't know if 1sweet got your verse right but if it is the one the meaning of this is; Pro 26:2 -
“Vague as the flight of the sparrow, aimless as the wheelings of the swallow, is the causeless curse. It will never reach its goal.” The marginal reading in the Hebrew, however, gives” to him” instead of “not” or “never;” “The causeless curse, though it may pass out of our ken, like a bird’s track in the air, will come on the man who utters it.” Compare the English proverb, “Curses, like young chickens, always come home to roost.”
I looked up just the word curse with my concordance and could not find a verse stated as you had or one near it. Sorry, But a causeless curse is close.

although the passage in prov 26:2 isn't exactly the wording you were asking about, the meaning seems to be somewhat close. I had to try to search for it and I didn't find it and then came back here to look at the answers and lo and behold it was in Proverbs (and I had just read proverbs a few weeks ago). It's amazing how rich that book is... you can't go more than a few verses without stoping to take notes.

Deuteronomy 27:15
"Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol—a thing detestable to the LORD, the work of the craftsman's hands—and sets it up in secret." Then all the people shall say, "Amen!"

maybe this is it???

And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the King of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? Or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?
Numbers 23:7,8

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent; hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Behold, I have received commandment to bless; and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

Balaam wanted Israel cursed and Balaam instructed Balak to curse Israel. Balak said that you can't curse someone who God blesses.

Remember this in your dealings with Israel today. The church has not replaced Israel.

Interesting.

Then it sucks for the christians who've died from voodoo curses...

(Yes we know how they work scientifically - the fear and worry of being cursed creates an imbalance in the nervous system).

I take it you're using one of those new translations. Totally unfamiliar to me. It'd be worth your while tp use a concordance as follows: http://www.eliyah.com/lexicon.html
You probably have a King James version. Use that when going through this.

A curse causeless,will not harm.

2Like the sparrow in her wandering, like the swallow in her flying, so the causeless curse does not alight
