You will have to check the island excursions to see if any you can swim with the dolphins. I know in Grand Cayman you can swim with the sting rays and in Cancun you swim with the dolphins. What islands will you be visiting?

Have a good trip and if you go to St Thomas or St John you will see magoose. Watch them they steal your lunch.

Not on the cruise ship but the island of Dominica(not to be mistaken with the dominican republic) is branded as the "Whale wathcing capital of the Caribbean" .It is part of the eastern caribbean.Excellent for not only Whale but also Dolphin wathcing with several dive operators that can provide you with the service from the time u step of the ship.

It has 3 National parks one of them is a World Heritage Site with numerous endemic and endangered wildlife including the island's national bird"sisserou parrot"Amazona Imperialis-only found in Dominica.

The island is also branded as the "Nature Island of the Caribbean" so greenery and nature is the norm.Do you kno the island has 365 rivers numerous waterfalls, sulpher springs,a boiling lake etc...was the main island where Pirates of the Caribbean 2&3 were filmed...

if you stop in St Thomas, take the Mangrove Adventures kayak tour of the marine sanctuary.........at sea you'll probably see dolphins playing in the bow wave......whales are passing thru the Caribbean now, but they will try and stay far away from something weighing 60,000 tons going 20 miles an hour!

There is a strong possibility that you will be able to see dolphins at play in the bow wake of the ship you're on !!

But, your absolute best chance to see "wildlife" will be at
any one of the no less than six "clubs" onboard any night
that you are "at sea" !!!!

I like Larry's second answer :0) and I think he is right!
Seriously, and sorry to say - not very likely you will see anything while cruising. Though you may see Frigate birds and Pelicans soaring near land. Also a few others.
