Big scam. Have you ever bought a ticket for this lottery? They want your money and they have none to offer you.
There are so many ways to get burned by this scam.
1. They tell you that there is a fee for taxes or expenses or something that you need to pay up front. You pay, they disappear.
2. They send you a big check and you are instructed to cash it and then pay them back fees and taxes and such from that check. Once that is done, they will send you the rest of the money. You do that and they disappear and then you find out the check was bad and you are expected to give the money back to the bank.
3. They need your bank account info so they can put the money in there. They empty the account out and/or they use the account for more illegal purposes which really ruins your life for a while.
4. They need all of your identification information for verification or something. They use this to steal your identity. That can haunt you for years.

Half of the planet has received that scam e-mail. Just delete it.
If you bought a ticket down the shops, check your numbers and file a claim if you have a winner. But the lottery doesn't have your e-mail address and wouldn't notify you of a win even if they did as they depend upon a small % of winning tickets to never be claimed anyway.

It's an obvious scam.. I've received a fair amount of those messages, but I ignore them most of the time since I know that
they're nothing more but scams.

Watch Dateline - and more importantly THINK. If it SOUNDS too good to be true, THEN IT IS! Why do so many of you people fall for this crap - stop being so gullible or so desperate that you actually think someone's GIVING you money for NO REASON. HELLO!! Does that REALLY make sense???? WAKE UP AND TURN ON YOUR BRAIN!!
