I have a rainbow bracelet (like the Livestrong bracelets) that I never take off. I'm proud of who I am. You should be too. Just don't take it over the top. Something small is fine, but if you're one big walking rainbow then it's a little much. ha

I wear a rainbow bracelet along with a bracelet that is the colors of the bisexual flag. Not a lot of people get it though because it is ok for girls to wear rainbow, and no one knows what the bisexual flag looks like (pink, purple, blue). Its more of an confirmation if someone else of the LGBT community's radar is going off. I don't think anyone would assume based on what I wear. But if they did assume I was gay I wouldn't care, at least they would understand that I'm not straight.

The only thing that I wear in public this rainbow colors belt that I got from a store called Rainbows. I don't wear it everyday tho. Just sometimes when it matches my outfit. Alot of people tell me they like it but I don't think that they are making the connection between rainbow and gay/les. Oh yea and I also have a pair of light blue pj pants with tiny rainbows on them.

occasionally, I've even gone so far as to wear a "nobody knows I'm Gay" t-shirt at the mall, more than once. Of course, given my size and appearance, I tend not to hear any comments (note: I said I don't hear them, but I know things are said). I wear what I like, sometimes leather pants and a nice shirt other times a rainbow (tie-dyed) t-shirt and shorts. I don't think I'm advertising so much as I am comfortable with who I am and like to wear what I want. Given some of the t-shirts I see some straight people wear and what they have written on them, my clothing is far less offencive.
Oh yes, I should point out I live in Montreal Canada and, with respect to other countries, I have found being gay here is a non-issue, seriously, nobody cares.

I know many who do choose to do so and and even more who do not. I know others who are more open in their personal life outside of work, but in the office, it would not be obvious or apparent at all. Some people of these orientations only wear such things during celebrations, such as Pride Fest, or alternative nightclubs... Some people are gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered but are married in a heterosexual relationship... All of this is an individual choice... There are so many ways to live ones life. Most people don't want to place a 'kick me' sign on themselves, but many people who choose either option that I know understand how things are and do not feel ashamed (and they shouldn't be) of how they choose to live their lives. Not everyone understands or is accepting of these lifestyles, so it boils down the basic common choice that many people, especially people who belong in a minority group that isn't obvious, make... Should I choose to blend in with the crowd, with my actions, words, and appearance, or shall I advertise to people that I am different or do not agree with whatever situation or topic that is at hand?

I have a few tie dyed tee shirts with all the rainbow colors on them that I wear sometimes. People think I'm a dead head, thats cool.
I also have a few Harley tee shirts I wear from time to time. Sometimes bikers flirt with me, thats cool too.

All the time, except for at work. A necklace and occasionally a wrist cuff.

only for gay pride. I find kind of tacky to wear rainbow stuff the rest of the year. I don't know, I don't want people to think I'm gay before being a person, being gay is just par of me, not my entire self.

By "you guys" I assume you mean Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered people?
Yes, that is ALL we wear. That's how you can spot us walking down the street.
If one of us is caught wearing ordinary clothes we get our LGBT membership suspended for a week (first offence).
