I have not been to bed yet, we have a tornado watch and we are in the middle of a major thunderstorm. Did I mention there is a scheduled power outage for the club house which means the telephones will not work.

We spent time in LA (Venice) last year and loved it, but LA as a city is too disconnected, and so we decided to take a chance on Vancouver as a possible place to settle.

That said, where should we consider within the downtown
area (unless there's somewhere comparable?).

We're both in the fitness industry, and our focus will be on training, and finding a way to make some money there by setting up a business in that field (along with anything else that comes along!).

We're looking for the mix of being in a city where there's much to do, while having access to some natural surround, and Vancouver seems to score pretty high on that count. We've looked at Yaletown as an option as it looks like a nice area to be based, but without knowing it first hand, we're still only guessing.

We want to find a more rounded version of LA, where we can make some money, have plenty to do, and enjoy a good standard of living at the same time, with access to some scenery!!

Where should we be looking??

Does anyone know what is wrong with my car?

It was going fine, no problems and then yesterday I went to take the kids to school and it wouldn't start. It was just clicking when i turned teh key so I came to the conclusion that it was a flat battery.
Got it jump started and all was fine. Then after driving for about 45 minutes i got to work. I thought this would have been enough to charge it back up but obviously not. Did the same on the way home but it is still just clicking and won't start.

Would this be the battery? It is nt holding the charge. Another thing that someone said was alternator.

Any suggestions?

Hi, The Sigma alarm on my car locks and unlocks fine with the key fob, but when I unlock it the hazard lights stay on and only go off if I disconnect the battery. Any ideas how I could fix it. cheers

My bf's computer won't boot up. It was fine when he turned it off the last time he used it.

There are lights on the tower which means there must be power going through it, but nothing happens when he pushes the 'on button'. Also the keyboard doesn't light up.

He has checked the cords and they are tight. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am currently taking St John's Wort tablets once a day. It works fairly well on me. I am considering also taking 5-htp supplements in combination.

I dated a girl i fell in love with. She cheated on me and left and came crawling back i forgave her. I treated her like gold. But couldnt get over it we fought alot and she said she needed time. She left me for another guy durning the time period. 3 months later she came crawling back again saying she learned from her mistakes after 2 months i took her back treated her like gold again but we fought about the past i said some things i didnt mean and she said she wanted time. I told her i learned from my mistakes like she did and would put everything behind me that i loved her. She said my choice to take her back was mine and she didnt make it for me. I said what about everything i done for u to make you happy. She said you cant hold that over my head. 2 weeks of time she left me agiain. I really love her but i dont understand why she would be with me for three years told me she loved everyday and keeped crawling back just to leave again.

I had to repair a broken fridge magnet three days ago. I used superglue. the tube was leaking, so I got it all over my hands. now my right hand is stuck to the mouse and my left hand is stuck to the beerglass I was drinking from, which is now empty. I have to type using my elbows. I can call emergency services using my elbows, too, but unfortunately I tried to clean my hands by licking the glue off, now my lips are stuck together as well. I get through, but they think I'm a crank caller or a terrorist.
what am I to do?
(luckily I have NOT used the bathroom during this time)
