The first things that comes to mind are mosquitoes! BUT, one must also realize that in nature EVERYTHING is interwoven. That is there is this delicate balance that can easily be upset and cause disastrous consequences. For example the extinction of mosquitoes may well cause repercussions in several other species, and so you could possibly find one of your favorite bird species become extinct if the mosquito made up the majority of their food supply for example!

I think that no matter how much someone might not like an amimal or plant or whatever it is it has a very important role in keeping the world working. There aren't any animals or any other kind of living thing that I don't like but if there was I still wouldn't want it to become extinct.

Several of the disease killing viruses and bacteria would be nice to see become extinct. I also don't like roaches and mosquitoes much. But even they are important in some way. Roaches help get rid of rotting debris and mosquitoes help pollinate some flowers. Go figure. But can't see the good use for fleas and ticks. They are just annoying.

I'm sure that roaches and mosquitoes must have some purpose in the grand scheme of life, but I haven't been able to find what that purpose is. In my life, they only serve to piss me off, so I would not feel bad at all it both species became completely extinct.

Anything that become extinct is a shame. We are here to co exist not seek and destroy! The only "thing" I really wish would become extinct are Child molesters.
