Since I moved into my house 3 years ago we keep getting fines from various authorities for speeding, parking, running red lights, hit and run and failing to stop at scene (fortunately no injuries).
All these are vehicles that do not belong to us but are registered illegally to our house. New vehicles are being registered all the time but we do not get log books or car tax reminders - only the fines. How is that possible???
I have contacted the police, our local counciller, DVLA (who were a joke), the post office, watch dog and nobody seems to be able to help. I have been told on most occassions to return fines to sender with an explanation and not worry - which I have done but these mostly get ignored and are followed by court summons, bailiffs letters etc. Its very frustrating and I don't want bailiffs knocking on my door, never mind the fact that these people are driving dangerously round the country. What happens when they hit and run and kill somebody?
