Tell the police first, so that you are clear, and free to depart for Mexico, when your wife dies in an accident, totally no fault of your own.
Make sure you give them the address of the resort, to make it easier on them, when they have follow up questions.
Tracking down people in Mexico is sometimes so difficult. A bit easier when they think they are a spy, but don't have the credentials.
Wave hello to the guards at the Embassy in Mazatlan for me.
I hope they are carrying heavier than Mp-5's nowadays, considering the situation in Laredo.

guy, last time I checked, if you are to owner and beneficiary, all you need to do is keep the policy in your own bank lock box, and you can avoid the guilt of putting a larger price on your wife's head.
