I am writing an essay on Biblical elements in The Awakening. The problem is the only obvious one that i can think of is the fact of Edna's sinful desire. Does anyone recall any other ones or have any websites that could help? Thanks

I served Chateaubriand, onion potatoes, all kinds of goodies and this was the smash hit, believe it or not. Enjoy!

Cauliflower Gratin
1 (3-pound) head cauliflower, cut into large florets
Kosher salt
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, divided
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups hot milk
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup freshly grated Gruyere, divided
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Cook the cauliflower florets in a large pot of boiling salted water for 5 to 6 minutes, until tender but still firm. Drain.
Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add the flour, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon for 2 minutes. Pour the hot milk into the butter-flour mixture and stir until it comes to a boil. Boil, whisking constantly, for 1 minute, or until thickened. Off the heat, add 1 teaspoon of salt, the pepper, nutmeg, 1/2 cup of the Gruyere, and the Parmesan.
Pour 1/3 of the sauce on the bottom of an 8 by 11 by 2-inch baking dish. Place the drained cauliflower on top and then spread the rest of the sauce evenly on top. Combine the bread crumbs with the remaining 1/4 cup of Gruyere and sprinkle on top. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and drizzle over the gratin. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the top is browned. Serve hot or at room temperature.

I've recently purchased a Chanel Handbag for a very cheap price. The person I bought it from claimed that the bag is "authentic", but I still have doubts. It looks real to me but I'm not really an expert on designer merchandise. Can anyone help?

why does copper conduct electricity but rubber doesn't. Not only this, but the answer needs to relate to the particle theory.

I'm a student in college and am wondering whether or not I should pursue a career in pharmacy or become an electrical engineer..I like the money pharmacists make, but i don't want to have to work nights and weekends...i like the typical 9-5 jobs for electrical engineers..but wish there was a higher demand for electrical engineers...some info on either job would be helpful? what's it like being an electrical engineer? what's it like being a pharmacist?

What a wonderful world this could be if only the people in charge of the country were focused on making it great for all of mankind not just the top 1%!!!

Seriously! Didn't our forefathers want a better way for anyone who was willing to work for it?
Weren't they protesting England and telling them to stick their Aristocracy and Elitism!?!? That all were created equal and no man was a slave to the establishment!

Sad how only 250 years we have come closer to that which we initially opposed!!

I know I am starving for truth and justice and the American way!!

And the pursuit of happiness!

We can be a country of hope and true leadership into a bright future for all Americans if we keep truth and justice and prosperity in balance!!!

Is there a person in the government today who still remembers how they felt about the US when they were 10 and idealistic and searched for truth???

Hopefully soon!!

We are good but we can be great!!!

I have this relative she is 21 years-old, and has four children, a 7YO, 4YO,and a set of 20 mo.old twins. She is homeless, jobless, and sanctioned from welfare,(didn't comply with some thing.) The father of the children is 23YO, and is in jail for beating up my relative. Any ways, she told her mom (who is also incarcerated), that she was giving her kids to the state. I feel so bad for her, any thoughts?

I'm going to be auditioning for first stage children's theater in like 4 months. I need to find a song that is IT. Because when I audition I am really auditioning for the ENTIRE SEASON! (1-2 plays though) I need to WOW the "judges".

BTW: I am looking for a showtune. (I can't do "I've got Rythm" because I sang it last year.
