I'm going to be auditioning for first stage children's theater in like 4 months. I need to find a song that is IT. Because when I audition I am really auditioning for the ENTIRE SEASON! (1-2 plays though) I need to WOW the "judges".
BTW: I am looking for a showtune. (I can't do "I've got Rythm" because I sang it last year.

What's your voice part and what kind of music do you sing best. There are so many different types of songs. Are you more into the older Broadway or the newer Broadway?

I was watching Great Performances on PBS last night, it was South Pacific. Why don't you check out Bali High or Happy Talk or one of Nelie's songs. I was Nellie in HS, Wash that Man Right Out of My Hair doesn't have too many high notes.

it really depends on what your part is... i like "Jesus Christ Superstar"... but you have to have a really strong voice to sing it
