for the reason that some human beings are non secular and persons impact politics, it is not obtainable to take it out thoroughly. My Christianity does impact how I view the international, and that throughout turn impacts how I vote. i do no longer see an oblique affiliation as being risky, however - every person has a diverse set of biases. often, i might assume them to universal out. There relatively must be no direct effect, however. the whole element of installation the separation of church and state become to maintain the state from meddling in the affairs of church homes. i think of it become extra of a edge-income that it keeps church homes from meddling in political comments, yet no longer all edge-outcomes are undesirable.

This is a wonderful, thought provoking question! And I agree with you completely. I wish I knew how to break through and reach the selfish people. We are all one, literally, and we ARE our brothers and sisters keepers. What we give to others we give both to God, and to ourselves. What we do for others, we do for God, and for ourselves.
We are on this earth to learn love, kindness, compassion, sharing, and to take care of each other. We are not here to learn how to make and hoard millions. That is the true moral behind the King Midas story. Everything he touched turned to gold. His wife and daughter, so he was all alone with no one to love and be loved by....and even his food turned to gold, so he starved to death. Money is important for survival in this physical world, because that is the way we have set our system up. But, there is more than enough for everybody, if everyone would learn to share. God meant for each of us to have our basic physical needs (ie healthy food, decent clothing, and decent housing, met, without having to struggle for it. This is the birthright of each and every one of us, without exception.
Unfortunately, Greed and selfishness has always been with us. There have always been those who embraced it, and those who fought against it, and those who suffered because of it. One of the marks of a primitive society, is how much greed and selfishness is prevelant in that society, and one of the marks of an enlightened, evolved society is how much they share (without limits) and how much they take care of each other. In such a society, each person is inspired to do his or her share, to the best of their abilities, because working together benefits the whole, and because no one has to fight for basic sustenence, everyone is more satisfied, and their natural generousity comes through. *sm*

Even as the richest person in the world, Bill Gates does not have control over my life, other than production of a PC operating system that seems to be under constant revision and virus attack.
Try to better yourself, instead of expecting Government to do it for you or to cry foul and smack down the ones who made it to the top.

Yes. I am. You are absolutely correct. Our country is ruled by greed and avarice and vice...AKA politics. This administration has pushed us into the gutter. I do not know just who can pull us out. Hopefully a Democrat.
