My wife was feeling down so I brought home some ice cream for her. When I came in she was on the phone telling her friend her what was troubling her. She made a point of telling her friend what I got her. This surprised me since if it was me I wouldn't have. Do women like to brag about attention show to them by their spouse?

My girlfriend and I have a 2 yo Border Collie. About 3 months ago, we switched foods. We went from feeding her the Maxxium Nutrition brand food which was lamb flavored, to feeding her the Authority Harvest Baked lamb flavored food. After the switch, our dog went crazy over the food!!! She devoured each bite every time we fed her. The new food gave a great boost in energy and she looked much more healthy overall as well. Well, the bag was running low so we went and bought some more. Suddenly she stopped eating. We discovered that she had a tapeworm at the end of last week. Since she was due for her yearly shots and since she needed to be fixed anyway, we took her to the vet yesterday. We took a bag of food to the vet. I picked her today, and after getting her in the car, I went back to talk with one of her caregivers. I asked how she ate, and the lady said she had fed her the wrong food but that she loved the stuff but wouldn't eat her own food when it was given to her. What gives?!?

It seems like everywhere I go, especially lately, I am approached by people asking would I be interested in attendeing their church. I ususally decline and thank them. But they give me their card in case I change my mind. They're nice when the ask and are not at all annoying. This happens to me almost EVERYWHERE I go. It's seems as if they spot me out of a crowd. I'm not complaining, just curiuos as to why they walk past others and come to me? I' believe in God and am not that religiuos. What could it be?

As an ex-sailor, I looked forward to a new hobby - building a model of the Bismarck through an in-parts magazine. It would be a hobby, and I would have a model at the end of the day.
The first issue is usually at a sell-off price, so I bought one for 50p - usual price £4.99.
Only when I read through a mountain of leaflets did I find a single mention of the fact that the model came in 140 issues. This meant that the end model would have cost nearly £700 - and probably ended up in the garage!
Should the publishers of these multi-part magazines be made to show how many issues are in the series?
I once bought a series on car maintenance - handy, I thought. But at the end of the day I paid over £200 for them. A good DIY car maintenance book would have cost less than £30.
Are these people ripping us off, and should they be made to advertise the cost for the complete set?

Stop saying "we cut taxes and now we have deficits." We cut tax RATES and tax REVENUE is UP. AGAIN. We have high deficits because Bush and Congress have INCREASED SPENDING even faster than they've increased revenue.

ok, ive asked a similar question before, but i am on my 7 day break from my pill, my period has started today, i have a new packet of pills here which i went to the doctor to get today. i am meant to start this packet on Wednesday but i want to start it to day, to see if it will stop my period by sunday, ideally i would prefer not to be on my period on Sunday night! but my doctor said today that the only real way to change the day you start back on your pill is to come off it for a month then start back. however he didnt really seem to know what he was talking about and someone before on this told me i could start my pill today and my period should stop in about 2days.
Help please.

Eleven illegal immigrants were "let go" by state patrol officers on I-40 in North Carolina, because there weren't enough officers to process them AND they had no avail. facilities to hold them!! So, the troopers were told to let them go! The immigrants even admitted to the troopers that they were here in The US illegally, but this made no difference. They were still allowed to pile back in their van, and drive off!

iam always worried that something is wrong with my computer, even if it's working fine. some feeling urges me to re-check everything and do spy ware scans, virus scans, etc... to satisfy me. i don't know why, but iam feeling that way. am i kind of addicted, i don't know. even while i sleep, i feel that i have to swicth on my computer and check that it's fine. mental problem...help

Instead of the 125K or whatever he makes per year. I mean what other job out there has the kind of perks that this one has? Free housing, free transportation, a killer benefits plan, great pension, free food, free clothes, long vacations, etc. etc. Plus there isnt' really a supply demand issue that might artificially raise the cost because there's only one position no matter what.
