ok, ive asked a similar question before, but i am on my 7 day break from my pill, my period has started today, i have a new packet of pills here which i went to the doctor to get today. i am meant to start this packet on Wednesday but i want to start it to day, to see if it will stop my period by sunday, ideally i would prefer not to be on my period on Sunday night! but my doctor said today that the only real way to change the day you start back on your pill is to come off it for a month then start back. however he didnt really seem to know what he was talking about and someone before on this told me i could start my pill today and my period should stop in about 2days.
Help please.

I have tried this a few times and it hasn't worked for me. The info your doc gave you is the correct info.

its true as soon as you take your first pill of the new pack you'll notice the difference if you wanted you would have to have a period just skip the week that you start on .. anyways sure it stops your period within two days it did mine... i was worried about my honeymoon and thought i would be on my period but my sis told me to take my pills and wow just in a few days it was gone and i had a great honeymoon

call a female gyno......the gyno will have all the answers you need and can give you detailed information. i know my wife has started hers early so that on vacations and such she would be off.
