As a first-time author, I'm trying to decide whether to go with a subsidy publisher (one with a good reputation), just to give the book an in-print chance, or to wait another year to see if an agent or standard royalty publisher takes an interest. Could I do both, since I would still hold the rights with the print-on-demand subsidy publisher?

"The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars," he said. Solar Cycles

Abdussamatov believes that changes in the sun's heat output can account for almost all the climate changes we see on both planets. Mars and Earth, for instance, have experienced periodic ice ages throughout their histories.

"Man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on Earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance," Abdussamatov said.

Perhaps it’s northing more than semantics, but wouldn’t you agree that it's Discontentment that motivates?

Concerning the question about happiness – I think happiness is problematic in that when happy, people tend to cling to that exact condition.

Insomuch as Change is the only universal constant, any attempt to resist changing results in discontentment.

All thoughtful answers are appreciated.

I am using Java and XML to code a project and I'm facing a problem... I am using SQL to pull a list of cities... the data shows up like this:

Atlanta
Raleigh
New York
Denver
San Francisco
London

but I want it to look like this
Atlanta New York San Francisco
Raleigh Denver London

How can I do this without having to create a dummy table in SQL, since I did this but there are some cases where my query includes less Cities, for example
Atlanta New York
Raleigh Denver

and I face a problem since I cannot make the empty columns disappear... just in case, I'm building this with Websphere Portlet Factory

He's not even in the race ... yet. Are their polls(1) telling them to be afraid?

(1) Polls - a kind of Bible that governs the lives of the political left. Polls can change over time, thus changing liberal platforms hich tend to have no other anchor.

If the Old Testament was to be considered obsolete, how come Jesus did not say so? In fact, he often quoted scripture from the Old Testament? He helped his disciples better understand Old Testament prophesy. In light of this, do you think Christians should discard OT and just focus on the New Testament?

I have been in love with my best friend since I met her five years ago. She has always been upfront that she hasn't felt the same way. Well we moved in together 2 years ago and she had been single for most of that time until recently. During that time it felt like we were a couple to me; we were affectionate, had sex regularly and would go out and do things together. Now she has a boyfriend and all of those things have stopped. It hurts me a lot to see her with some one else (especially living together) and have the kind of relationship we had before just disappear. I'm not sure how to deal with this but I also feel terrible because she has always been upfront about how she feels. I would always say that I understood and that it wouldn't affect my head. She knows now how I feel and feels bad but doesn't know what to do. I'm just heart-broken perhaps you folks can give me some insight.
