My wife was feeling down so I brought home some ice cream for her. When I came in she was on the phone telling her friend her what was troubling her. She made a point of telling her friend what I got her. This surprised me since if it was me I wouldn't have. Do women like to brag about attention show to them by their spouse?

Im sorry, but yes we do!!! Its like a competition or something...even though most of us wont admitt it to our girlfriends...we love attention and we love to shove it in someones face too!!! Keep up the good work you sound really nice.

Yes. I hate to say it. It makes them feel just a little bit better then other women. It is not necessarily a contest, it is just a way of saying how much you care for her. Some women just feel the need to put it out there and let everyone know what a giving, loving, sacrificing, intuitive husband they have. The women who hear their friends bragging often wish their spouses would do the same for them, if their spouse don't do that already.

Of course we do we want others to know that we are loved. Most women brag to thier family and friend like my husband bought me some flowers or some candy today for no reason. It makes the other person think well why is my significant other not doing those things for me as well. She could of called up on the phone to brag to show her friend that you are doing something special for her as well. Keep on doing those special things for her and you will get rewards in return.

YEAH! Most women would not admit it, but this bragging is somewhat a competition to women at times. Usually between close friends I mean. Every woman wants the love, attention--and to be doted on by men....and every time we get it--we are usually so happy to be being treated well--we can't contain ourselves and have to tell somebody. Who cares how small that attention may have been, but we love it.

Well, quite frankly, men have a long history of being stereotyped as big, manly, macho, non-mushy and with an outer layer of steel. So when you do something that is considered "out of your persona" we like to brag about how our man treats us special. Take it as a compliment. She's being proud of you. You can do all the big things in world to show us you love us, but it is the little everyday actions that mean the most.

I do, because to know that your spouse still have those feelings and are in tuned to how you feel is exciting.
It's not that I am bragging, but I just like to share with others how good of a man that I have.

I wouldn't call it bragging she was just happy that you were there for her when she needed it the most and that's what always matter.On a scale from 1 to 10 i would give you a 10 stars for being there for your boo!!!!

Yes, we love it when our hubby's do nice things for us. That was extremely sweet of you to get her the ice cream. And her bragging to her friend was like saying, "Don't I have the world's most wonderful husband?" =)
