I want to know the carribean islands south of Florida. And what is it's Spanish name? I need this for my Spanish class.

I bet you are referring to the Florida Keys. They are part of the US and stretch from Miami nearly straight to the west. Also, Cuba is only 90 miles south from Florida and is the closest. Those are what I think of when I hear "just south" of Florida.

Cuba is probably the spanish name for Cuba though. The Keys don't have a spanish name as they are US--but I guess whatever spanish for "keys" is.

Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Jamaica, Santo Domingo, Cuba,.

The Bahamas are just south of Florida.
Spanish = "las Bahamas"
