what's making you so bummed out?

There seems to be a pattern, especially in the areas of morality and ethics, where extremist views get credited more than balanced views. I assume because the creditors agree that a strong view either way is better than a balanced response.

Do people think the whole forum provides the balance or are they just unbalanced.

Or what?

This is why:

1 Corinthians 1:17-19

17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written:
“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”

Because of the hardness of people's hearts. The world is in darkness....but Jesus is the Light of the world. When you say yes to Him....the blindfolds will come off....and you will be able to see the truth of sin.

The gospel message is open to all....but all wont receive it because of their self-reliance and unbelief. I pray that God will show unbelievers the truth about Himself.

im 20 weeks.. so halfway towards the pain! I know its a time to look foward to meeting my baby boy but i am terrified of the pain, the pregnancy books make it seem worse im sure of it, please can someone try and describe labour for me i know it differs from woman to woman but just a little bit of calming down would be nice :) x

I've had the worst day today. To start off, I broke my finger and now and can't ne in the championship for my bball team, i have the worst cold IN THE WORLD, and My cousin thats OLDER then ME! Cussed me out, and I toled him to go jump off a building, my aunt heard and tried to SPANK me infront of my whole FAMILY!

We are taking my 4 yr old and going to Disney in April for my little sisters HS graduation party. We have booked our flights and my family's flights all together on one of our pay later accounts because it was easier to get seats together, and he is in control of ALL of our finances. All our taxes also just got deposited into "his" bank account.

If I tell him I want a divorce before we go to Disney, he will not only cancel the flights for everyone out of spite, but he will keep all the money set aside for the vacation as well just to "stick it to me", kind of as a blackmail to stay.

I don't like acting like I want to be here when I know I don't but there is so much riding on what I do. I would feel horrible if he ruined this trip because I couldn't hold my horses for a couple more months.

A close friend of mine passed away about a month and a half ago. He had been with the same girl for four years and they have two children and were planning to get married. She has already moved on and has a new boyfriend. She never calls any of her friends that she hung with when they were together unless she wants them to babysit. She is hanging out with new people now, going out every weekend, even trying to get friends who are ill to keep her kids so she can go out, etc. I was one of her best friends before her fiance passed, and I never hear from her anymore, except for wanting me to babysit. There are some very upset people because of all this. Everyone thinks it's disrespectful to the deceased person. She has even been staying with this new guy at his house!! What are your opinions on this?

a guy i work with sent me a joke e-mail and all of the sudden he thinks im cheatin do we have a chance? i cant get over the thought of him goin through my things!he even looked up the guys last name in the phone book and called everyone with that last name try to confrnt this guy! what do i do ????

I'm a short guy and always had problems getting girls interested in me. I'm muscled and defined but not extremely and i'm toned. My body fat level is around 10% and i have good abs (sixpack) well built arms, shoulders and chest and very much a v-shape torso through genetics and training.

NOw i was born in Europe and there girls never gave me a second look (mostly not even a first one). I think my lack of height (173 cm or 5.8 ft) was too blame for that.
After that i worked in Asia for some years (Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore) and the same thing happened again, albeit (maybe) for different reasons however i also think Asian girls go for tall. Could the problem in Asia be that i'm too muscled for them??

I just had a baby this year and I didn't work very much so i only put about $200 dollars into taxes, but I thought that when you clam a child that you get at least a $1000 back not $200.

when she has these recurrant dreams , her body temp. goes down, and she gets a terrible headache. she says everything is going really fast in her mind. she is confused when she wakes up. i love her and dont know how to help her. anyone know anything about this?

The way I see it is this. . . the celtics were a very good team during the Larry Bird era. However. . . during that time. . . they were babied by the referees and leauge even more than Duke is babied by the NCAA today!!! All Larry Bird had to do was fall to the ground and he went to the free throw line. It didn't matter if there wasn't anybody within 5 feet of him. . . he just went to the line! Also. . . the officials working games at the Boston Garden were horribly biased at best. Who can forget Robert Parish's absolute assault on Bill Lambier right in front of the official who just stood there. Time magazine even did a cover story on the boston garden pulling the green wool over the officials eyes for years. Lambier was a dirty jerk of a player but for the officials and NBA to look the other way on this was a disgrace!!!! The NBA has deteriorated into a leaugue of crap and nothing but thugs but I love the fact that the celtics are biting the big schwantzola now!!!!

I was just curious to see how many of you are outraged by Rick Perry's order to have all girls ages 11 and 12 vaccinated with the HPV vaccine? I personally the mother of a 13 year old daughter think that it is my decision whether or not to get my daughter a vaccine to protect against certain STD's. I think Rick Perry has over stepped his boundries on this issue. What's next Rick Perry gonna order my daughter and all other teenagers to be placed on mandatory birth control.

in about 1994 i saw a film which i loved at the time, but have never found since. its some architect guy who builds a womans house for her, leaving a hollow corridor all the way round the house for himself to live in so he can spy on her.. any ideas ? i know its vague..thx
