Depends on the type of offense. If you do something and get away with it because no one knows then you cannot be in trouble but if you do something and you are found out but can't be located you are still in trouble no matter where you go.

For every action there is a reaction.
Basically you are taking all the responsibilities of every action you did in your own life. You pull in what you've pulled out. It's really all up to you whether you bring about your own creation or your own undoing.
