I have inquiries on my credit and I need to know how long it will take for them to be removed. I also have a REPO and charge-offs. I'm in desperate need of a car and my credit is terrible. I've been turned down by 3 banks already. Can anyone give me any advise??

Sounds like your only chance for a car is at one of those rip off "WE FINANCE HERE" dealers. You'll get taken big time on what you pay for the car and the rate you pay, but you might have a chance of getting wheels.

You should understand that the cost of any loan that you would qualify for would be incredibly expensive. Are you willing to pay for a Toyota while driving a Yugo?

If you can save some money, you can frequently find a fairly reliable used car for around $2k (for sale by owner/no dealers). I recommend driving that for a while and saving for a down payment on your next vehicle. By then, your credit score should be stabilized.

To answer your question, inquiries remain for 2 years, while charge-offs and repossessions remain for 7.

Inquiries are on your report 2 years.

All other accounts/debts/payment history is 7 years, but bankrupcies are 10.

Stop applying to banks unless they advertise as BAD CREDIT because each inquiry is dinging your score. Save a down payment to help your cause.
