in about 1994 i saw a film which i loved at the time, but have never found since. its some architect guy who builds a womans house for her, leaving a hollow corridor all the way round the house for himself to live in so he can spy on her.. any ideas ? i know its vague..thx

Ohhh and it's got those emeralds in it! Can't remember what it's called but it was released in the early 90's - 80's i think. That's so frustrating i know it!
