Anyone else feel like crap about themselves/cry for no reason/feel as though they are alone? I have so much sadness in my life, how do I focus on positive present instead of negative past and worrisome future? Anyone get pro help or drugs to conquer these feelings? I need answers it is crippling my life...

I'm in college and never had a date. I was a late bloomer and didn't even think about girls that way until I was 17. I get made fun of by a lot of other guys for not ever dating girls. Is this such a bad thing? My goals in life involve finishing college with the best grades I can and then going on to get a pHD (I'm a physics major) and have never really included a relationship. Obviously, I'll be 30+ by the time I'm finished school; would it be too late to start dating then? Should I just forget about having a relationship and work on my school/career? BTW, I do have friends and they are an important part of my life, so it's not like I'm a loner.

This girl I really like has way over protective parents all she wants to do is see a movie or come hear my band play (she told me that) and her parents wont let her out of the house with me I offered to meet them and they still said no they if I call her, her dad freaks out and she is stuck baby sitting almost every weekend and when she has a free weekend we can't do anything. her parents have never met me so I don't know what there problem is it not against her religion or anything like that. if anyone who has had this experience or has advice could help me on how to get her parents to chill out I would appriciate it.

my ex had bought me a big screen tv. well we agreed if we breakup that i pay half of the tv. well we broke up and i had got the money up to give him. i told him to come in the morning and get it. well he said i dont have to pay him right now. but to me that sounds like he is still trying to hold on. because im tired of how he treats me sometime. well should i just not worry about it or should i just go ahead and pay him and be thru with him. im really short on money right now but i just want to resolve this matter. and he did make remarks like why should he pay for a tv that another man will be watching. well i dont want to date him anymore and i think he knows that. so he might just want to have something to hang over me and keep me in his dept. or maybe he dont want the money. what do you think?
