Can you explain a little more about the context of your question?

In my work cascading is a way of expanding a system. By taking a cascading output from unit 1 and feeding this into unit 2 you will double the systems capacity. For instance an audio mixer with 4 faders can, by using a second unit of the same model, turned into a 8 fader audio mixer.

In terms of SISO (Single Input Single Output) systems, a cascade control loop is one loop inside another. For example, a speed loop is closed around a plant and then a position loop is closed around that. The cascade control therefore has an inner loop and an outer loop.
