I have the IDE drive from my old laptop. It ran XP Pro SP2 and the disk is NTFS. When I try to read it on another computer, I can't find the files in the My Documents folder. I know they are there. I found a utility that finds them. It costs $100, and I wonder if there's anything else out there that works for less. I understand I could recover the files by booting the system with Linux, too. There are lots of deleted file recovery utilities out there, but I'm looking for something that allows me to overcome the security settings on the files on the drive. I've tried the DOS attrib -r command and it works on some files but not the ones in My Documents folder.

I have a SanDisk Sansa m230 player and the software that comes with it auto installed Windows Media Player 10. I Have ripped some songs onto WMP and when I try to sync them to the MP3 player, WMP says it does not detect a device. My computer recognizes it and says it is installed and ready to go...I don't get it...what am I doing wrong?

An answerer put a random letter or a collection of letters like "sdfefreg" as an answer just to be the first to answer the question, but then later they change it to a real answer. It irks me.

I see that my local nursery has them in 3-4 foot size. i really like the way they look . If I plant them in a row and flatten them on top ,do they form a nice looking hedge?
How long will it take for them to grow into a 6' hedge? I am wanting to screen my neighbors.
Also another place in my yard I want to plant them in a row and grow them in their tree form to make a tall screen. Will they look good this way as well? Will they grow fast into a 10' screen?
Any tips appreciated, thanks.

Hey Guys,
I have a Ford Focus ZX3 and I am wondering if you could tell me if I have too much oil in my car. Last Saturday I decided that I am going to change my oil myself and put Mobile 1 premium synthetic oil. I did manage to change it and at the end I filled it up with about 4.7 quarts of oil and some other additive(to clean the engine) that made it total of about 5.1 quarts. Although my car requires only 4.5 quarts I have it more than that. The oil is so clean that it is impossible to see where is the oil level. But I think that I am about an 3/4 an inch over the Full...
So should I drain the excess or just let it circulate in the engine until the next oil change?
I don't know if it could cause any damage to the car, but I haven't been seeing any smoke from the muffler.

Hey there, college guy here. I just found out my roommate (another guy) is gay. We get along well, but we never really talked about our sexuality. He always seemed straight to me. But a few days ago, I passed by his room (two bedroom apt), and I noticed he had put up a few posters of shirtless men! I mean, not like celebrities or anything, but really gay stuff. No two men kissing, but lots of shirtless men and abs, and whatever. It's kinda making me sick! He never told me he was gay. I don't have a problem with it, but what can/should I do???? please!

So there was this guy i really liked and i thought he liked me back but obviously he doesn't because he likes this girl named courtney. Well todayy he was very down and stuff and i thought it was just one of those days i'd be able to chipper him up but no it wasn't.........i asked him why he was madd and he gave me a dirty look and he has never given me that look so i was wondering through 1st if he was mad at me. Ok so there is this girl named felicia and she usually thinks everybody is flirting and when i asked him what was wrong felicia said stop flirting when he was actually gonna tell me something!! So heres the deal he was nice to everybody else but me the entire day and that's just torture to me!!!! when i get my myspace back the first thing i'm gonna do is talk to him about this but of course i'm nott gonna be mean!!! any other ideas????
please i'm desperate right now because i really like this guy and he ignored me for the first time ever!!!
