I have no love for the government, a lot of love for my country though. But, the answer is there is no possibility that government is the antichrist. GBY

Well, if you believe Revelation, it's quite possible. The Antichrist is the one who will unite the world in false peace. One currency, mark o'da devil etc. If you believe that then yes, it's possible this person will be a politicial figure. I'm sure we can all rule out our current President as the Antichrist though! No sign of peace with him!

I think that they already are the anti-christ. Here's a quote for you:

Most governments are actually antichrist...if they resist true worshippers of God and persecute them, then they are a part of the anti-christ...anyone who opposes God's worshippers is antichrist.
